VINTAGE SANTA

This beautiful project, created by Art Institute Glitter, Inc., artist Debrey Taylor, shows just how beautiful Vintage Glass Glitter can be when coupled with vintage images.

Debrey first selected a vintage image of Saint Nick and a deep, rich, maroon-red, velvet poster board. She then cut the board in two sizes and stamped the pattern on the back board with a larger pattern than the smaller front board. Using an Ultrafine Metal Tip, she glittered the design in deep green Fine Vintage Glass Glitter.

She glued the Santa image on the smaller board and trimmed it with glue and gold Vintage Glass Glitter. She then finished the piece by gluing a strip of gold leaf around the larger board and mounting the small board with sticky dots for a 3-dimensional effect.

This is a great project for a vintage Christmas tree decoration. Simply add a gold cord and you have a beautiful Christmas ornament that you can pass down down from generation to generation.
